Privacy Policy

Last updated September 20, 2026

Tuck ("the app") is made by Reid Coleman. This policy explains what the app does with information.

What stays on your device

Everything you save — links, notes, photos, your lists, reminders, and the titles, images and summaries Tuck works out — is stored only on your device, in the app's own container. There is no account and no Tuck server that keeps a copy. Deleting the app deletes it all.

Smart reading

To understand a save, Tuck fetches the page you saved (like a browser would) and sends a short description of it — the link, its title, a text excerpt, and for a note the note's own text, plus the names of your lists — to a language-model service (Groq, Inc.) to produce a title, a one-line summary, a category and facts such as a recipe's cooking time. That text is sent only for this purpose, is not used to identify you, and Tuck does not send your name, contacts, location or device identifiers with it. Groq's handling of requests is governed by Groq's privacy policy. If you would rather nothing leave the device, don't use smart reading: saving, categories by site, lists and reminders work without it.

Link previews

Titles, artwork and favicons come from the site you saved and, for some sites, from their public oEmbed endpoints (YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, Vimeo, SoundCloud) and Apple's LinkPresentation framework. Those requests carry the standard information any web request carries (your IP address and a user-agent string).

Purchases

Tuck Plus is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment; Tuck only learns whether a subscription is active and never sees your payment details.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing about them is sent anywhere.

No tracking

Tuck has no analytics, no advertising SDK and does not track you across apps or websites.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address.
